STAT Care has created a comprehensive and innovative approach
to Emergency Department Management:
Physician Recruitment and Retention
STAT Care has developed a database of Emergency Medicine physicians that is constantly updated. This list is garnered from the top outgoing residents and knowledge of local Emergency physicians that are residency-trained and have been practicing for several years. Developing strong relationships with various training programs and practicing doctors enables us to recruit the best Emergency Medicine physicians available. Every physician that works for STAT Care goes through primary source credentialing after a rigorous review of schooling, residency, references and current position. Our contractual arrangements will be set up to foster long-term relationships through constant communication and two-way feedback. All of our physicians have a minimum of three years full-time Emergency Department experience and all are Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or Primary Care Medicine.
On-Site Medical Director
STAT Care will provide each hospital with an on-site Medical Director who serves as the liaison between hospital administration, physicians and our company. Each Medical Director provides stability, support and the ability to address issues immediately. The Medical Director will function as an integral part of the team environment. STAT Cares reputation and relationship-oriented approach ensure that our Medical Directors are a combination of talented physician and adept administrator.
Excellence Assurance Programs
Through experienced management practices and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) programs, STAT Care ensures that all aspects of the Emergency Department are under constant supervision, scrutiny and improvement. We employ surveys, customer service consultation and educational tools to continuously monitor STAT Care environments.
Risk Management
STAT Care provides a comprehensive risk management program. However, our strategic planning and process implementation minimizes the number of potential Emergency Department claims.
Continuing Education
All healthcare providers are required to maintain CME in Emergency Medicine as required by their Board affiliation. STAT Care believes that continuing medical education is critical to improve and maintain diagnostic acumen, and become familiar with the most advanced treatment options.
Marketing Support
STAT Care works closely with each hospitals public relations and marketing department to dovetail efforts that will garner positive coverage, community goodwill and market share.
Electronic Systems
STAT Care uses state-of-the-art electronic systems that boost efficiency and accuracy, both critical in an Emergency Department. Electronic discharge systems and charting systems are just a few of the best practices we use.
Peer Review
The peer review process is a tried and tested vehicle to provide the finest quality medical care. It is one of the many forms of feedback we provide our physicians and staff.
